First of all, things are brighter and clearer in my world lately! I got contacts. Although they are a little irritating to begin with, and my eyes are a bit sore, I had no idea all of the things I have been missing out on! The world is more colorful, more defined, its actually wonderful. I love it. Now – maybe my headaches will go away!
To Anonymous # 2 – the one who defended me regarding the Loser comment, thank you. My post about anonymous peeps, was not referring to you, or anyone else who defends another, encourages someone, or does an act of good will anonymously. It was referring to Anonymous #1. I have actually come across a few blogs where people were making negative comments about the writer in the name of anonymous, and I don’t agree with that. Let me make myself a little more clear. I think you should stand behind the negative words you say, or not say them at all. I don’t think it’s bad that you (anonymous 2) don’t identify yourself. So I do apologize for not making that clear in my previous blog, hopefully I have not soured your “defending” attitude, and you will continue to read my blog, and comment, even if you don't leave your name. :) Are we good now?
It is such a nice day out today, I got the opportunity to go have lunch with a great friend in Bowness Park. That was awesome!
In other news, tomorrow me, and my bestest friend Chelsea are going to see THE Sir Elton John. I can't hardly wait! We've been waiting at least 1/2 a year for this day, and its finally arrived. I bet he will be spectacular!
That's it, thats all.

After Summer comes Fall...
The air in Calgary has that chill in it, that only comes following Summer...it is a reality check letting you know, its not all sunshine and roses. It seems unfair that this chill is already in the air. It seems strange that summer is coming to the end. I often wonder what this time next year will bring?
My Mom and her husband Dave were to Calgary for the weekend. We had a great time doing all kinds of tourist-y things. We went to Canadian Olympic Park, and took in the sights/sounds there (Bonnie - I discovered that the ski lift isn't actually free! It costs $6 each to go up there! We sure lucked out!!!!! We went up the Calgary Tower, I love the view from there. We went to Bolero again, an amazing Brazilian BBQ Restaurant. We spent time with Chelsea and Andrew, and their 2 boys, spent time in Lake Louise and Banff, went to the Sushi Boat, and went to see a very stupid movie. We also explored Drumheller and the surrounding area's. Its been ages since I've been back there. It was a good time. I can't help remembering the first time I went there...didn't God bless us with memories?
Turns out, the weekend also brought on a virus, so I have spent the past few days feeling yucky, having a fever, and being miserable. I'm feeling better now, so that's good.
I don't really have anything to write about in here, but figured I better write something. I also love Anonymous writers! I once had a teacher at school in Austria who challenged all of us to never write something, we were unwilling to put our name behind. Since that time I have never written a comment somewhere, without signing my name.
Oh and Bonnie - the cups weren't throw away cups, they are class collector's cups, and you definitely need to come to Calgary and straighten me out! :) We have a lovely place for you to stay here!
Anyway - that's all for today.
