Free Stuff Please
I've been trying to blog for an hour now, and every time I start I get distracted with the CORNER GAS, gas pump game...I have problems. If Darin's reading this, get whoever works on this site, to put some sort of counselling link in there, to those suffering with compulsive gas pumping...perhaps I should get a part time job...+
Ok, so asking for Free Stuff...might actually help you get free stuff...or perhaps its filling out comment cards...either way, I got a $5 gift certificate from Jack Astors...Mmmmm....TROY! LETS GO AGAIN HONEY! (he paid, so he probably gets the $5 discount) :)
So I got 2 packages in the mail today. One from Lisa...Mmmm...candies, pictures, picture frame, more candies....face mask...(not like a bear mask or something, one of those girlie-cream ones) and all kinds of girlie goodiness. Then I got a package from my Oma (German for Grandma). She sent me a watch that my Dad sent her, but she will never wear. (Don't worry, my Dad told her to send it to me!) So sweet...I've never ever received a package from my Oma before. She's such a cute lady!
Nothing again...overly exciting to write of...this week will likely be same as last week...working & then hanging out with my boy...tonight he made me supper...he makes the best hamburgers!
IN YOU
"I put my hope in You. I lay my life in the palm of Your hands. For I'm constantly drawn to You oh Lord, in ways I can not comprehend. Its the Creator calling the created. Maker beconing the made. The bride finding what she's always waited for...when we find ourselvers that day...
In you...where the hungry feast at the table, the blind frozen by colors in their view, the lame will dance, they'll dance for they are able, and the weary find rest, oh the weary find rest in You. Its no secret we don't belong here, though set apart by the grace of You. We look for the day when we go to a place where the old becomes brand new. In You, where the hungry feast at the table, the blind frozen by the colors in view, the lame will dance will dance for they are able, and the weary find rest, oh the weary find rest in you... Oh we will find rest in You." Mercy Me.
Celebrate God today. So often we forget that He made the sunset that ends our day...He made the sun rays that kiss our cheeks as the sun beats through the blinds in the morning...he made the water we splash on our faces as we race the clock to get to work on time. He made time. He made each moment of each day, and he made them complete...just enough, but not too little. When I stop...and focus on my Creator...my Maker...and realize the beauty I see each day, and yet have grown accustomed to...I am humbled. Our God...is an incredible God...and is worthy of our praise and adoration at very least.

Vote For Pedro
So Troy & I stumbled upon treasure today. We have been in search of Star Wars, "A New Hope" and today, (cause we're nerds) looked in 4 different video stores. Now while walking by a Rogers Video, I suggested we check it out. Once again, we were disapointed, however, we did find a Napolean Dynamite movie, with Special edition t-shirt..."Vote For Pedro". Now I feel comfortable publishing this, because the Special offer ended today. We made it in the last minutes of this amazing offer, and are both thrilled.
In other news...the movie "Madagascar" is hilarious. Check out the link http://www.madagascar-themovie.com/ for info on it. Troy & I saw it today in a matinee...and laughed a ton!
I have a small addiction to confess...today, being my day off...and feeling oh, so lazy, I stayed home, and did some "chores" but also got distracted for over an hour playing the corner gas, gas pump game....I'd suggest all to try it all, however Corner Gas doesn't have a counselling section for those suffering from the addiction...much like the addiction I had to the Calgary Flames Memory game...let me link that one...http://calgaryflames.com/fan/kidszone.html#blank . Try this game too...its the second from the top, and definitely fun...(more fun if you're a fan I think...and can remeber the cards/players).
The weekend was great! Spent some time with Kerey...drinking Ice Coffee & watching "the Office", went to the Lilac Festival with Andrewski & Chels...had a victorious game of Settlers as well!
Anyway...all business blog...I guess I'm tired today.
**TROY, GOOD MORNING SWEETHEART...I LOVE YOU.

Mmmm....Outside...
There is a bunny that lives in the parking lot beside my office....I love to see it hopping all around! :) Its funny...I love bunnies...which reminds me. One time, I convinced Kevin Thomas to give me a baby bunny...I saved it from the snake he was feeding it to. Anyway, the bunny, we figured was about 2 days old or so, and didn't even have its eyes open yet. I named him Peter Rabbit...not Peter the Rabbit....but "Peter Rabbit". I made a comfy bed for him in a shoebox and lined it with baby blankets, I got up hourly throughout the night to feed it goats milk from a bottle, and tried to keep him warm with a hot pack...after about 5 days he started to learn to hop....but still didn't have his eyes open...once when cleaning up his box, I had put him on my desk, and he hopped right off...onto the floor...that's got to be a long fall for a baby bunny (remember, this bunny was the size of ummmm....he'd fit in the palm of your hand only...a small rodent or something...GROSS!...anyway). Well one night I let another friend babysat, and that night Peter Rabbit died...I cried. Poor bunny...
Anyway, my intention was not to write about Peter Rabbit today. So for 4 years I gave Chelsea the same Christmas card. I'm not sure if I've told her yet, but she'll know now for sure. In 2000 I gave her a Christmas card, wrote some endearing words on it and attached it to her present. Since we lived together, it was easy to steal this card (apparently I like to steal from Chelsea) and save it until the next year. For 4 years, I gave her the exact card...same message...and she never noticed! Mmmm...I love Chelsea...every year she loved my card and said I was so thoughtful...tehe....not really! :)
Troy doesn't know how to tie up his shoe laces. He bends down to tie them about 6 times a day. Maybe I should keep a log sheet...does anyone have any tips...BESIDES DOUBLE KNOTTING which apparently he's opposed to, cause I've brought it up several times... :)
I think that's all from me today...

The Last Friday
So today is the last Friday that I’ll be under a quarter of a century old. I’m wondering if I should be going through the same crisis that I’ve seen others go through at the same time…(Tom Loewen). I’m not freaking out though…I’m ok with being a quarter of a century old.
I was reminded of a funny memory…possibly only to those involved, but it caused me to laugh out loud, so I figured I should share. Last night as Troy & I were driving home from Jack Astors, I saw one of those little tiny blue cars…I don’t even know if you can classify it as a car, cause its about ¼ the size of a car, and I think mostly they have frozen treats in them, and play ice-cream enticing songs. Anyway, several years ago, a couple friends and I were driving down John Laurie Blvd, and saw one of these trucks, likely heading home for the evening…no ice-cream truck music, he wasn’t even driving slow…anyway…the truck, and pictures of these delicate and yummy treats enticed my friends and I to stop at nothing to flag this man down. So in fine style, hanging out of the vehicle we motioned for him to pull over. But whether the driver had not fully completed his ice-cream truck driving training or not, he didn’t pull over on the side of the road, but on the little median to the right of an intersection…(where you push the button & wait to cross the street). That’s where he stopped and let us purchase our ice-cream. We certainly had some laughs about that.
So apparently my boyfriend thinks someone (who will go un-named for privacy purposes) should receive her bear back. Now I’m not sure if there is a conspiracy involving my boyfriend and my best friend or not…but…he pleaded her case well…so in a ceremony not yet planned through, Bear Naked will be returned to the original owner. (even though the owner did leave profanities on my blog site) This hasn’t been discussed with my co-conspirator, however, I’m sure she’ll agree…if not she’ll have to have a talk with my boyfriend. J
In other news it occurred to me today, that Calgary didn’t get our annual snow-dump in May! What’s up with that? I look forward to it every year, and have now been disapointed! I remember one year getting a couple feet of snow in a matter of hours, and having snowball fights and what not outside….Mmmmmm…I miss living with Chelsea…that was fun. BOO.
Anyway…someone needs to work once in a while…have some training to do! Happy weekend, Happy Lilac Festival, LEAVE SOME COMMENTS ALREADY!

Road Trips & Bears on The Highway
Good-Bye May 2-4!
Back from Kelowna…(which I had spelt wrong thus far…great). Troy & I had a great time visiting with his parents and enjoying the B.C. weather & wine. Star Wars was the big date event for Sunday night and despite the lineup, the price was right $7.95 and the movie was great! I hope we’ll see it again!
The road trip was a blast…a LOT of laughs…on the way there, we spent about 20 minutes talking and singing and laughing trying to keep our tongues out of our mouths. It was hilarious, and I’d recommend trying it…however, if you drool as much as me, you might need a bib. On the way back we stopped at the “Enchanted Forest” www.enchantedforestbc.com which I might be more inclined to call “Nightmare Forest” considering the gnomes & such are probably 30-some-odd years old and definitely what scary dreams are made of. We also saw a mother bear, and 2 bear cubs along the highway on our trip back. That was also neat.
Rob & Amber’s wedding was great…I admit I did get teary eyed at the end…J
I better get back to work.
I’ll attach some pictures from our trip later!

Today's The Day
Today’s the day the road trip begins! I love road trips! I love to drive….see the scenery….I think I would have made a good trucker…although the beer belly & the unwashed hair might have not looked appealing on me, but whatever…I love long road trips. Not sure what the appeal is…but…there you go.
Last night I went to get my eyebrows waxed…the lady who does them, is excellent. However she does have this funny (some would call it annoying) habit. Whenever you are talking, she always (I think unconsciously) tries to say the same thing as you at the same time. It sounds something like someone who is singing along to a radio to a song they don’t know. Its hilarious…usually she only catches the last part of the last word, or few words. I love it. It makes me want to get my eyebrows waxed more than they need to…I think THE $11 it costs to get that done, is entirely worth it, because of that alone. J
CSI last night…need I say more…? Oh my goodness…had I not been watching it with Troy, I would have been bawling the entire time.
I’m disapointed in the way things happened yesterday in the Governement Budget Vote. I suppose everythign will work out in its own time. I’m surprised thata Canadians don’t seem to be more aggrivated at this Martin Government after he stole taxpayers money, and the way things have fallen with him purchasing the vote (through Melinda Stronic) & such….I’m surprosed there is any confidence within the Canadian people for this man at all. Perhaps there’s not, but those who were elected can not be removed from power until the next election..I hope that happens soon.
Besides that…nothing much on my mind. Work…the added responsibility here and how to handle that on a continual basis…I love it..I enjoy learning to be a great manager…servant…co-worker…etc…its challenging…and I love a challenge.
Have a great long weekend.

What the...
No one is blogging these days....what's the deal? Hmmmmph! Chelsea, I don't mind if you stuff all my stuffed animals with stuff. I assure you, Bear Naked is having a wonderful time eating Brotworst & such. :)
Today I saw an off duty bus driver doing a jig up and down the isle in his bus. It was great fun...thats why I sat and watched him for about 5 minutes...does that make me creapy? Probably...
Countdown to the weekend....now its 2 hours today, 8 hours tomorrow (of work) and then off to battle traffic all the way to Kelona. I can't wait. My boy, all to myself...what can be better than that?
People thrive on Encouragement...its like a food group, or it should be, because the difference it can make in someone is unbelievable. I'd like to become a better encourager....lots of thinking...need idea's...need to be creative!
I cut my own hair last night and am quite proud of the job I did. Troy asked me if I will wear it down more often. I should have asked me if I wear my hair down more often does it mean you'll buy me more presents? :) Just kidding, but it is funny. It was SUPER long, and for those who haven't seen me, it was past my elbows....(when my arms are hanging at my side). That's pretty long for me.
Today is Tim Dick's Birthday. I miss that man, and am not really sure how to reach him! Maybe I'll try his old phone number to see if he's around...I'm all about people who have had the same phone number since the day they were born. My goodness, that's awesome, I just talked to his Mommy. Hmmm...leave a message! :)
Wow, I'll be a quarter of a century in a few weeks too...should I feel old? I still feel caught somewhere between 16 and 20...yet perhaps a bit smarter. (that's up for interpritation.)
Ok....I'm rambling...I'm off.....COME ON 4:30!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As Sure as the Sun Rise
As sure as it is to rain the day after I wash my car. The funny thing is I know this. Every time I wash my car, I think....its likely to rain tomorrow...but I still do it. Waste of money. Oh well. I suppose there are other wastes of money that cost me more....my cell phone...the dentist...insurance... :)
So my not so little brother Andy his a girlie friend. How cute..(sorry Andy, but I think so). She's so very sweet and really cute too. Hmmmm...He's also going to the Ukraine tomorrow on a missions trip for about 3 weeks, so if you think to pray for him...I'm sure he'd appreciate it.
Also, my Calgary family, the Daumlers have gone to Africa. They've been there now 1 week and 1 day, and are suffering the climatatization process...heat rash, sleepless nights, bloody noses...please pray for them too. Tom, Lise, Maggie (10), Ainsley(7), Faith(6) and Naomi(4). They need lots of prayers.
Last night I was reading my Bible looking to encourage my boyfriend and stumbled across a bunch of verses in Psalms that I can't seem to shake...and likely for a good reason. It talks about how God wants to fill His children's mouths with "the finest wheat and honey"...and how they stubbornly rebelled and so God wasn't able to do this...but that He desires to so that...I love that. Its in Psalm 81 if you want to check it out...definitely a good read. God has good things for us...not necessarily in the way we describe good things...but He desires to fill our mouths with the very best. How wonderful to realise that again for the first time. :)

Bear Naked
So the bear didn't die...
This is Bear Naked. He was born about 5 years ago to Chelsea Lummen ( http://chelseabeth7.blogspot.com/). On Bear Naked's Birthday, Heather & I cristened him "Bear Naked" as we took off his clothes, and thus, named this bear. Since then, he's been on MANY adventures...to the airport, being a model...doing several poses in Chelsea's room, bathroom, all over the house really. Bear Naked has become quite an attraction.
In the Below pictures, Bear Naked is off to Germany to check out the Bier & Laderhosen (no clue how to spell that). Here he's getting ready for his 6 hour trip hosted by Ryan & Naomi Dittmann. For more adventures on Bear Naked, stay tuned...

Breaking Back & Scary Dreams
So my back is KILLING me. I feel like I have to constantly move in a vertical position...which means, no leaning forward, no bending over, it hurts so incredibly bad. I can't even get in for a massage until tomorrow....I have to keep taking deep breaths...ugh.
So I had a SUPER scary dream last night. I drempt that I woke up, and thought I heard someone coming into my apartment...then silence....Then he ran very fast, into my bedroom and I think he kidnapped me...(I'm not a kid...) but anyway, then I remember trying so hard to scream, but I was so terrified that I couldn't... Finally, I think I must have escaped, and fled, and my brother Jon, was living in the same apartment building as me, and I fled to his apartment, but I kept running into this man who kidnapped me...And I was terrified because the doors weren't locked in the apartment where I was & stuff...it was sorta scary...no VERY scary....I hate those kind of dreams.
This weekend Troy & I are going to visit his parents in Kelona. (I think I've mentioned this before). I'm SO excited about being cooped up in a car with Troy for 7 hours straight there, and back. With his job, and the hours he works, its not too often that we get to spend a lot of concentrated time together, enjoying one another, so I'm so excited to have him all to myself on our road trip. **IF anyone has any fun road-trip games to play, let me know, I'm SUPER interested in hearing about them. We love playing games.*
What else....my Piano Exam on Saturday went well. I won't know for a couple weeks how I did, but I think I did well. The only thing I"m sure I messed up on (after the fact) was putting "rests" into a piece of music. I sort of got confused on what you can combined...S-w-m-w & s-w-w and such...(if you're a music geek you probably know what I'm talking about). BUt I think I probably got everything else right...I really hope I did about 90%, not necessarily for my sake, but for that of my teacher, she's pretty awesome.
Anyway, I should get back to the ol' grind, but wanted to post my painful morning for all. :)
Have a great day...the mountains look amazing today in Calgary from my mountain view office. :)

Cold & Bothered
I'm happy today. Welcome to Saturday May 14, 2005 (Bonnie Fahnestock's Birthday if I remember correctly). its beautiful outside. I get to spend the majority of my day with my boy, who HOPEFULLY ins't too sleepy because its the lovely weekend. I have an exam in an hour & a half which I feel prepared for (which is pretty much a first for me, cause I'm a cramer). I've had fun clients in my office all morning and have been kept busy and challenged, so that's fun.
I'm looking for some innovative idea's to flag some business for my office. If anyone has any neat marketing tips for me, I'm son interested in hearing them. In my new position as Manager of the North Office, I'm looking for ways to really increase our revenue here and build this office like crazy. I need all the help I can get! :)
So I got emails from a few people who read my blog...THANK YOU!
Has anyone seen the British TV Series called "The Office"? Its HILARIOUS, and would definitely reccomend buying it...or at very least, renting it from Blockbuster or the like. I'll li nk it in here, when I have time. Hold on...Kyle is here and wants to see my blog...so I'm posting this now...

Its nearly the weekend, and I'm so excited...oh, I've also decided to put my Mom's website onto my blog too...if you want to buy or sell a house, she's a selling MACHINE! So call her. :)

Why Is The Air Conditioner On?
So the temperature in my office is a schizophrenic…cold when we say hot, hot when we say cold. Hmmm…BURRRRRR…I’m cold. So one of the ladies in my office dropped her keys down the elevator shaft in her apartment building last night…isn’t that a hoot. Not funny. Just comical…I’ll keep you posted as to the events in the office…usually there’s some big event on a daily basis. So Troy’s friend Darin comes into town today. Darin is a production manager for the show “Corner Gas”. Troy and I have become quite addicted to Corner Gas...we watched nearly the entire first season in about 3 sittings (Troy bought the DVD's). As groupies, we want to go to SK to visit Darin…and MAYBE be extra’s on the show...*cross fingers*…wouldn’t that be fun! Check out the LINK to Corner Gas, and check out the show, Monday nights at 8 on CTV, it’s a hoot.
That’s all for now…

One More Thing...
So I've fallen...am falling...in love. Soon, I'll let all my friends & family know about my BLOG so they can read and see what's going on in my life too...I want to try to figure out how to actually put pictures on to this page, rather than just adding them as a blog, but anyway,...I've fallen in love. His name is TROY Bierman (said BEER-MAN) and he's an incredible man. He's far surpassed any expectation I've ever had for a man for myself, and continues to wow me with different ways he's perfect for me. He's the sophisticated, neat, responsible version of myself, which I think is hilarious. Anyway, keep checking back for more postings on this wonderful man. I've got to get back to work now, but I'll fill you in as time allows...

The Sushi Boat
I had a dentist appointment this morning, and forgot to bring a lunch to work with me. Well, not entirely forgot I suppose, more like, I was rushing and thought, "forget it" and ran out the door. Anyway, I decided to go to the Sushi Boat (one of my most favorite places) for some lunch. The food, is always a pleasant experience, however I don't think the one server likes me. She wasn't very nice to me throughout my "experience" at the sushi boat...In fact I didn't ever get asked if I'd like a drink. About 3/4 of the way into my meal, I asked her if I could please get some tea.
Anyway, my stomach is satisfied, but I wonder if I've done something to offend this Japanese server...huhh
So talk of Rob & Amber not willing is still in the air. I talked to my Hygenist this morning about it, and she's not terribly thrilled that they didn't win either. Has it ever happened in REAL LIFE where a airplane has opened its gate after closing it already, to let a passenger on? Honestly.
Work today is kind of slow, and I don't know how I'll occupy my time this afternoon...I'm writing my Piano Theory Grad 5 exam on Saturday so maybe I'll look at my "terms".
Another BORING blog. Sorry...(not sure if anyone is reading this, or not...)

Testing Testing...1-2-3
First Blog...lets see if this time really works. I thought it'd be fun to post a blog on here to let everyone know what's going on in my life. They are kinda fun if you use them. Tonight I went to the Lido in Kensingon with Troy for dinner...I don't necessarily reccomend it...well not for dinner, the breakfast special is super, but not the dinner. Then we went for a walk through Kensington. It was nice. I love watching the water in the Bow river...(we walked along the Bow). This will be short and boring, but there's more to come. I'm working on getting this blog looking nice, and ready for business!
